Mission Hills won the last time they faced Oceanside and things went their way on Friday too. The Grizzlies blew past the Pirates 3-0.

While Mission Hills might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Oceanside scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 26-24.

Mission Hills had a senior duo take command as Keilani Pacheco had 22 assists and five digs and Taylor Sybesma had 13 digs and two assists. Pacheco has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Mission Hills' win bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Oceanside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mission Hills and Oceanside will both be playing Mt. Carmel the next time they take the court. The Pirates will host the Sundevils at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
