Baseball Recap: Calhoun County Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Calhoun County finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Horse Creek Academy Stallions, falling 17-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Saints in their meetings with the Stallions: they've now lost three in a row.

Calhoun County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Zingmark, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Horse Creek Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-6.

While Calhoun County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
