Softball Recap: Lake Norman Charter Takes a Loss

Lake Norman Charter fell victim to East Rowan and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 11-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lake Norman Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for East Rowan, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Coming up, Lake Norman Charter will take on Greater Cabarrus S at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Rowan, they will challenge West Rowan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
