Central put their dominant defense on display in the team's eighth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Park Crossing Thunderbirds 54-0. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jules Griggs and Kalea Lovejoy. Lovejoy got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Park Crossing, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will host Blessed Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Park Crossing, they will welcome Russell County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
