Softball Recap: Hernando Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Hernando Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the First Academy Eagles, falling 23-3. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Hernando Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maria Bozman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Bozman a new career-high. Rachel Hendricks also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
