Volleyball Recap: Universal Comes Up Short

Universal lost against Islamic Foundation last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Stars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Universal was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22.

Universal's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Islamic Foundation, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Universal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Islamic Foundation, they will take on EPIC Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
