Softball Recap: Rochester Gets the Win

Rochester posted their closest win since May 23, 2025 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Castle Rock Rockets 10-8. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory made it two in a row for Rochester and bumps their season record up to 3-18. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Castle Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Looking ahead, Rochester will head out on the road to take on Black Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Castle Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
