Middleton hasn't had much luck against Armwood recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will welcome the Hawks at 8:00 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-20, which was the final score in Middleton's tilt against Riverview on Wednesday.

Despite their defeat, Middleton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. IZABELL REYES, who posted four points and nine boards, was perhaps the best of all. REYES has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of AALIYAH CHANDLER, who put up eight points and five boards.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Armwood challenged Alonso on Wednesday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Ravens with a sharp 59-33 win. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Armwood's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Middleton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
