Soccer Recap: Miramonte Triumphs

Miramonte's and Alhambra's game on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Miramonte turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. The Miramonte Matadors' defense stepped up to hand the Alhambra Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Matadors have won by exactly three goals.

They hit Alhambra with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from James Rogers, B C, and Graham Jenkins.

Miramonte now has a winning record of 5-4-6. As for Alhambra, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Miramonte will welcome Campolindo at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Alhambra, they will head out on the road to face off against Berean Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alhambra is facing Berean Christian at the right time seeing as Berean Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
