Basketball Recap: Golden Valley Comes Up Short

Golden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 66-43 to the Arvin Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-38 back in January.

Golden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Arvin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Golden Valley will welcome Tehachapi at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arvin, they will face off against Rosamond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
