Baseball Game Preview: Andover Panthers vs. Avoca Central Titans

Andover is 0-5 against Avoca Central since April of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Andover's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Avoca Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

It was a proper cat-fight when Andover took on Genesee Valley on Thursday. The Panthers fell 7-4 to the Jaguars.

Avoca Central never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Campbell-Savona on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 14-2 win. The game was the first time the Titans have beaten the Panthers on their field since May 1, 2019.

Avoca Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Andover, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
