Soccer Recap: Farmersville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Farmersville can now relate to. They fell just short of Sunnyvale by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Farmers have struggled against Sunnyvale recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Daniel Mendoza and Fernando Hernandez scored both of Farmersville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Farmersville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for Sunnyvale, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

As of now, neither Farmersville nor Sunnyvale have any future games scheduled.
