Mendon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Calhoun Christian Cougars 63-42. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Mendon to victory were Owen Gorham and Ryder Gorham. Owen dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Ryder posted 16 points and six steals. Owen is becoming a predictor of Mendon's success: when he posts at least ten boards the team is 6-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Carter Huston, who scored 11 points.

Mendon's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Calhoun Christian, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
