After losing to Seckman the last time they met, Rockwood Summit decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Jaguars 3-2. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-22-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (108-92) Rockwood Summit actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-21, 25-23, 14-25, 16-14.

Despite the defeat, Seckman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Meghan Holt had 14 assists and eight digs. Holt is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Rockwood Summit is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Seckman, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5-2.

Coming up, Rockwood Summit will challenge Sullivan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Seckman, they will square off against Kirkwood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
