Volleyball Game Preview: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Hemet Bulldogs

After both having extra time off, the San Jacinto Tigers and the Hemet Bulldogs will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Jacinto is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

San Jacinto extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Tristan 'Zaza' Zazueta. Everything went San Jacinto's way against Indio on Tuesday as San Jacinto made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Zazueta, who had 41 assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

San Jacinto's got stronger as the match went on, holding Indio to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Hemet came up short against Rancho Verde on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hemet was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-17.

Hemet's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for San Jacinto, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
