San Jacinto extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Tristan 'Zaza' Zazueta. Everything went San Jacinto's way against Indio on Tuesday as San Jacinto made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Zazueta, who had 41 assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.
San Jacinto's got stronger as the match went on, holding Indio to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-19.
Meanwhile, Hemet came up short against Rancho Verde on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Hemet was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-17.
Hemet's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for San Jacinto, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
