Softball Recap: Dubuque Senior Takes a Loss

Dubuque Senior was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Dubuque Senior's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Louisa-Muscatine, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dubuque Senior will face off against Kennedy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Louisa-Muscatine, they will venture away from home to take on West Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Louisa-Muscatine 1.4, West Burlington 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
