On Wednesday Isaac Bennett struck out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (one) Bennett has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with more than five strikeouts. For the year, he has an ERA of 2.95 over 21.3 innings pitched.
