Softball Recap: Bellville Find Success

While Bellville put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Rosebud-Lott. The Bellville Brahmas walked away with a 5-0 win over the Rosebud-Lott Cougars.

The team relied heavily on Ella Burnett, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Katie Falk, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Bellville's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Rosebud-Lott, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellville will challenge Brazos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rosebud-Lott, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Rosebud-Lott's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
