Baseball Recap: Nativity BVM Comes Up Short

Marian Catholic hit Nativity BVM with a ten-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Green Wave lost 12-3 to Marian Catholic. The Green Wave were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Marian Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

ANDREW VERCHICK was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of STEPHEN KARINCH, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Nativity BVM has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Marian Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
