Geneva skates past Orlando Science with ease

The Geneva Knights's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past Orlando Science 55-18 at home. That 37 points margin sets a new team best for Geneva this season.

Orlando Science's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Armin Ashori, who scored six points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Christian Harris, who scored five points.

Geneva's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Orlando Science, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geneva and First Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Orlando Science will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Regency Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. Regency Christian Academy is on a three-game streak of home losses, Orlando Science a nine-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
