Volleyball Recap: Goodwin RVT Takes a Loss

Goodwin RVT and Academy of Science and Innovation squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Goodwin RVT had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Ravens. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Gladiators haven't been shut out since back in September.

Academy of Science and Innovation was led to victory by Alisa Kandic and Nehae'Vah Armstrong. Kandic had three digs and two aces, while Armstrong had five digs and four aces. What's more, Armstrong posted four assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Goodwin RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Goodwin RVT nor Academy of Science and Innovation have any future games scheduled.
