Canyon has gone a perfect 4-0 against Kennedy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Comanches will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fighting Irish at 4:45 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Canyon earned a 3-1 victory over Cypress. The win continues a trend for the Comanches in their matchups with the Centurions: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Kennedy made easy work of Fullerton on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Kennedy never let Fullerton on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-20.

Canyon's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Everything went Canyon's way against Kennedy in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, as Canyon made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Comanches repeat their success, or do the Fighting Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
