After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Albany, West Union was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Houlka Wildcats with a sharp 41-15 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

West Union's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Houlka, their loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. West Union will challenge Regents at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Houlka, they will take on Tremont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' defense better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 55.7 points per game this season.
