Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bartram Trail). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 win over the Creekside Knights on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 last Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Dominic Cantona, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Luke Labbe was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Bartram Trail was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory got Bartram Trail back to even at 5-5. As for Creekside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Bartram Trail will venture away from home to face off against DeLand at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Creekside, they will host Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
