After only 12 points in their last matchup, Augusta E made sure to put some points up on the board against Coastal HomeSchool on Friday. The Eagles took down the Hurricanes 42-28. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now won four in a row.

Augusta E's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Pelham Inglett led the charge by rushing for 123 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries. Nathan Vosseller was another key player, rushing for 70 yards and one score on only nine carries.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Augusta E's defense and their four sacks. Nathan Whiting refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Augusta E received some extra help from Eli Reese, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Augusta E now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Augusta E will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Holy Spirit Prep at 5:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Eagles will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 32-26 loss against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics on the 26th.
