Baseball Game Preview: Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors vs. LEAP Academy Lancers

The Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors will face off against the LEAP Academy Lancers at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Camden County Vo-Tech's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while LEAP Academy has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Last Tuesday, Camden County Vo-Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Albertus Magnus and fell 6-5.

Meanwhile, LEAP Academy lost 16-4 to Salem on Monday.

LEAP Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yanathan Bernard, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Isadoro Reyes also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

LEAP Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17-1. As for Camden County Vo-Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Camden County Vo-Tech came up short against LEAP Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2017, falling 12-8. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
