Volleyball Recap: Soda Springs Comes Up Short

Soda Springs was the 3-0 winner over Wendell when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Soda Springs couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Wendell a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 28-30, 16-25, 15-11.

Soda Springs has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Wendell, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Soda Springs will challenge rival Malad at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wendell is set to face off against their familiar foe West Side at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
