Basketball Recap: Humboldt Takes a Loss

Humboldt lost against Middleton two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Humboldt Vikings fell just short of the Middleton Tigers by a score of 46-43. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Middleton, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humboldt will host Greenfield on Friday. Greenfield will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Humboldt surely won't give up without a fight. As for Middleton, they will face off against Gleason on Friday. Middleton is on a ten-game streak of home wins, Gleason a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
