Volleyball Recap: Moon Valley Has No Trouble Against Apollo

Moon Valley not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Apollo Hawks 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Moon Valley never let Apollo on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 26-24.

Enedina Virgil Macey paced Moon Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Virgil Macey got some help from Regina Roman Angulo and her seven assists. Roman Angulo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Moon Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Moon Valley will take on St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Apollo, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Kofa on the 2nd.
