Soccer Recap: Galileo Takes a Loss

Galileo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Chatham Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Galileo of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Galileo's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Chatham, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Galileo is set to square off against their familiar foe Dan River at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chatham will challenge rival Altavista at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
