Trico won the last time they faced Elverado and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pioneers skirted past the Falcons 8-6.

Trico let Hayleigh Franklin and Emma Williams run wild. Franklin went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Williams went 3-for-4 with three doubles and one run. Franklin has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Whitney Lovel, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

The win got Trico back to even at 10-10. As for Elverado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.

Coming up, Trico will host DuQuoin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Elverado, they have already played their next match, an 8-7 victory against Century on the 7th.
