Soccer Recap: Bloomington vs. Streator/Woodland
After flying high against Peoria last Thursday, Bloomington came back down to earth. The Bloomington Purple Raiders lost 5-1 to the Streator/Woodland Bulldogs on Saturday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Bloomington was already down 4-0.
Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Streator/Woodland, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9-2 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomington will challenge Richwoods at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Streator/Woodland, they will head out on the road to square off against DePue/Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
