West End and Pike Liberal Arts squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but West End had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pike Liberal Arts. West End's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

West End saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liddy Falkner, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

West End's loss dropped their record down to 26-11. As for Pike Liberal Arts, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-12.

Looking ahead, West End will face off against Belgreen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pike Liberal Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
