The Rivera Raiders were the 62-52 winner over the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. Rivera took a 36-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North on Saturday. Rivera has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North found their leader in underclassman Alexandra Gonzalez, who scored 14 points along with 5 steals and 4 blocks. Gonzalez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brianna Sarmiento, who scored 2 points along with 11 rebounds.

Rivera now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
