Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Victory Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles and fell 68-34. The Chargers were probably out for revenge after losing 58-33 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Victory Christian Academy lost, don't look at Elijah Carr. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. The game was Carr's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6.

Victory Christian Academy will head out to challenge Heritage Classical Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eagle Ridge Christian has already played their next matchup (against Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
