Basketball Game Preview: South Shore International Tars vs. Excel Academy of Englewood Bulls

Having just played yesterday, the South Shore International Tars will get right back to it and host the Excel Academy of Englewood Bulls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Shore International knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Excel Academy of Englewood likes a good challenge.

On Monday, South Shore International strolled past Excel Academy of South Shore with points to spare, taking the game 78-61.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-34, which was the final score in Excel Academy of Englewood's tilt against DuSable two weeks ago. The Bulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Shore International's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-16. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points over those games. As for Excel Academy of Englewood, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
