Baseball Recap: East Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

East Chapel Hill lost against Northern Durham on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. East Chapel Hill came up short against Northern Durham, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered against the Knights since April 22, 2022.

East Chapel Hill is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only three runs. As for Northern Durham, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

East Chapel Hill and Northern Durham could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. East Chapel Hill will challenge Jordan at 5:00 p.m. on April 8 down 218 places (302 vs. 84). Meanwhile, Northern Durham (ranked 216th) will meet Voyager Academy (ranked 33rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
