Baseball Recap: La Pryor Takes a Loss

La Pryor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Charlotte Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-4 defeat back in March.

La Pryor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Moises Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

La Pryor's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Charlotte, their victory ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. La Pryor is set to face off against their familiar foe Knippa at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Charlotte will take on rival Sabinal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
