Volleyball Recap: Schuyler Warriors vs. Crete Cardinals
Schuyler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crete Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10.
Schuyler's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Crete, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-24.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schuyler is on the road again on Tuesday to play Madison. As for Crete, they will challenge Gretna East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gretna East will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Crete surely won't give up without a fight.
