Basketball Game Preview: Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers vs. Homer Pelicans

Jonesboro-Hodge and Homer are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers will challenge the Homer Pelicans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Jonesboro-Hodge had to suffer through a 61-33 loss at the hands of Ringgold.

Meanwhile, Homer came up short against Lincoln Prep on Monday and fell 58-47.

Homer's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17.

Jonesboro-Hodge lost to Homer on the road by a decisive 56-37 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Jonesboro-Hodge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
