Glenwood has gone 9-1 against Rochester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Titans will take on the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Rochester will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Glenwood extended their winning streak to 14 on Wednesday. The Titans never let Centennial get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory.

Alyvia Streb looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Glenwood got a massive performance out of Ryleigh Kiel, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Kiel has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Taryn Griffith, who went 2-for-4 with two triples and three RBI.

Glenwood was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Springfield typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Rochester proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Senators with a sharp 21-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Glenwood's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Rochester, their record now sits at 20-6.

Glenwood skirted past Rochester 11-10 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
