Softball Game Preview: Diamond Bar Brahmas vs. Walnut Mustangs

Diamond Bar is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Walnut a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Diamond Bar Brahmas will welcome the Walnut Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ayala hit Diamond Bar with a nine-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Brahmas lost 14-1 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Walnut started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Bonita. They came up short against the Bearcats on Tuesday, falling 17-1.

Walnut saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rihanna J, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Diamond Bar's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Walnut, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
