San Diego Academy extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Josue Flores. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Bayfront Charter Sharks with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday thanks in part to Flores, who had 20 digs and three aces. He has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last ten times he's played.

San Diego Academy never let Bayfront Charter on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-13.

San Diego Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Bayfront Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, San Diego Academy will take on Hilltop at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bayfront Charter, they will challenge Central at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
