Soccer Recap: Nansemond River's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Lakeland on Thursday, Nansemond River came back down to earth. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maury Commodores on Friday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Nansemond River couldn't quite close it out.

Nansemond River moved to 6-5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Maury, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.
