Softball Recap: Ontario Christian Comes Up Short

Ontario Christian lost against Aquinas back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ontario Christian Knights fell just short of the Aquinas Falcons by a score of 8-7. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyse Campos was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

Campos wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Ontario Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Ontario Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Aquinas, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ontario Christian will venture away from home to take on Woodcrest Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ontario Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Aquinas, they will face off against Coachella Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
