After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centennial, Manual was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Peoria Lions by a score of 3-1.

Manual's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-7-1. As for Peoria, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Manual will be playing in front of their home fans against Normal Community at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Normal Community will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Manual surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peoria, they will head out on the road to challenge Geneseo at 10:00 a.m. on the 18th.
