Soccer Recap: Riverheads Comes Up Short

After flying high against Buffalo Gap on Thursday, Riverheads came back down to earth. The Gladiators came up short against the Fort Defiance Indians on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Riverheads haven't had much luck with Fort Defiance recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Riverheads' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Fort Defiance, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Riverheads does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Defiance, they are taking a road trip to square off against Waynesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
