Softball Recap: Sprague Comes Up Short

Sprague came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the West Salem Titans, falling 13-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Olympians couldn't push the score so high this time.

Sprague saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee Lundeen, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Sprague's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for West Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Sprague will venture away from home to square off against Parkrose at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Salem, they will host Forest Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
