Hernando has gone a perfect 10-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Hernando will venture away from home to take on Central at 7:00 p.m. Hernando's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Hernando played against Tarpon Springs on Friday and won via forfeit.

Central came up short against Weeki Wachee on Friday, falling 14-4. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost six in a row.

Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Atkinson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The win was the third in a row for Hernando, bringing their record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Hernando was able to grind out a solid win over Central in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hernando since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
