Basketball Recap: Kiowa Takes a Loss

Kiowa played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles and fell 71-37. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Eddie Harmon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pikes Peak Christian, dropping a double-double with 21 points and 18 boards. The game was Harmon's 15th in a row with at least 16 points. Kaden Whitmore was another key player, to rack up 19 points and three steals.

Kiowa's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Pikes Peak Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Kiowa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pikes Peak Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Monument Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pikes Peak Christian is facing Monument Academy at the right time seeing as Monument Academy is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
